The East Washington Street Library is the host for tonight's monthly meeting. It has been a functioning library for over a century. @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
Josh Crane, the branch manager for the E. Washington street library, opens up this evening's meeting with some facts and updates about the branch. @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
Graphic Novel Book Club, Children's Story Times, Seed Library, Book Bike, DND Club from Purdue Polytech, and Game Night are just a few amazing clubs that the E. Washington branch provides. @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
Meeting minutes for the Treasurer for the Month of August to be reviewed for auditing was also approved. The branch's budget was reported as "consistent" with no major dips or unpredicted factors. @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
The hope of implementing the "behavior policy" is for staff to be able to provide the best customer service, while also keeping the E. Washington street branch a safe and educational setting by finding ways to keep patrons accountable. @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
Is solar pv a good option for our libraries? That is the current discussion! Thoughts on alternative energy sources in general? @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
"Preserving Community voices: an Oral History Symposium" was a recent highlight for the adult programs with the libraries. @mirrorindy @indydocumenters
