Commissioners convened the monthly meeting of the Detroit Housing Commission, and discussed filling an at-large seat which is currently open. Due to an error in the posted Zoom link for virtual attendance, not all Documenters were able to attend this meeting.

Discussing updates regarding a newsletter surrounding Human Trafficking. Also, Vice Chair is discussing a safety hazard that being addressed through DTE.
CRIO department giving updates on varies community events and initiatives that’s being rolled out.
Commissioner Paul inquired about how the attack on DEI impacts them internally.
Vice Chair is giving input on the necessity of having more mental health initiatives especially after 2020.
Commissioner Paul speaking on more open communication. Getting to know staff.
Chair Mendoza provided the process for backfilling a seat on the commission.
