The Board of Zoning Appeals asks specific questions of petitioners
There seems to be a dispute with the petitioner that resulted in a restraining order being requested
In-person Comment: North End resident spoke about years of blight in the area
In-person Comment: Local resident urged the board not to ignore their own approval criteria.
Online comment: “The developers have a 1.6 star Google review” abcs stated they are likened to slum lords
Online comment: “A lot of elders could take advantage of this housing” from a representative of the North End Youth Improvement Council calling in support
Online commenter: spoke about the attempts to divide homeowners against renters. Calling in support
Online commenter: “It seems like a lack of due diligence on the part of the developer and Board of Appeals”
Board of Zoning Appeals Discussion. It was clarified that the only thing the board is to decide variance on the 10% setback that is being BSEED scope
In-person commenter: raised concerns about having a 4 story building adjacent to their family home
