Next discussion - new Grad Cert in Premed Studies - Prevost Clabo advises 12 credit hours of existing classes and are credits towards advance degrees- students more rewarded for work done in program.
Little discussion on faculty input in process (or lack of)-motion passed.

Presentation Pathways to WSU Pipeline Programs-
Have numerous pipeline programs to prepare students for college.

Federal funds from 21st Century Community Learning Center program

Gov Stancato advised some have many Detroit students as well.
Gov Busuito brings up trade schools and possible programs geared towards those jobs-Mr Neal advised looking at Tiny House builds and other Career Tech Ed (CTE) programs.

@waynestate 4,5% increase recommended.
State caps increase % at 4.5

@waynestate Moving to Item J-Fiscal Year 2025 General Fund & Aux Budget-

@waynestate General Fund gets $18.5 mil from 4.5% rate increase- while compensation for salaries and benefits increase is $19 Mil (1/2 $mill for “other staff” to get min $15 an hr and student workers to $13 an hr).
