Approved a proposal to increase the board’s compensation by 5%.

• This follows community pushback about a proposal by Board Chair Irene Fernando to increase the board’s compensation by 49%.
• Commissioner Kevin Anderson said the 5% salary increase was in alignment with increases that Hennepin County employees receive.

Approved the establishment of two new staff positions and appointments to those positions –the Chief Workplace Development Officer and Director of Fraud Prevention and Program Integrity.

Approved two projects:

• 1. A lease of space for the Met Council to build a restroom for Metro Transit bus drivers at Lake Street and Ewing Avenue.
• 2. A construction contract for improvements to the Augsburg Park Library in Richfield, which includes adding electric vehicle charging stations in the parking lot.
